The Mission of Welfare Baptist Church Child Development Center is to provide children a Christian atmosphere and academically challenging curriculum. The development center uses appropriate development practices daily in our educational programs and provides hot nutritious meals to stimulate our children's minds and growth.
We expand the cognitive ability, social and physical growth of our youth through a unique program that provides a comprehensive and carefully planned curriculum. The curriculum is tailored to the age groups of the children.
Exiting thematic units are planned with many varied experiences. They include:
- Block play
- Dramatic Play
- Manipulative Math
- Science Activities
- Music
- Water Play
- Reading
Flexible scheduling is utilized to provide time for learning centers where the children engage individually or in small groups. A typical day in the center begins with cheerful songs and stories of Jesus and His love for children.
